1. Agreement
By accessing or using ChekLog, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of a vessel, company, or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.
2. The service
ChekLog helps crews manage equipment records, checklists, inspections, and related operational history. Templates and suggested checklists are operational starting points only. They are not statutory procedures, class requirements, or legal advice.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Vessel admins control who may join their vessel and what access those members have.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of vessel, equipment, and inspection data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the service. You confirm you have the right to submit the data you upload.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with other users, or use ChekLog for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform or other users.
6. Availability
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as we improve the product. Early or testing access may be limited or invitation-only.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You remain responsible for vessel safety, compliance, and operational decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChekLog and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
