We use this information to provide and improve ChekLog, authenticate users, support vessel crews, maintain inspection history, send operational emails (such as invites), and keep the platform secure.

We do not sell personal data. We may use trusted processors (for example hosting, authentication, and email delivery) solely to run the service. Vessel data is visible to members of that vessel according to their role.
5. Retention
We retain account and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legitimate operational or legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a cloud application, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Vessel admins control crew membership and equipment records for their vessel.
